Coach David Ramsey is founder and head coach of the Brocaw Blazers. Coach Ramsey works with numerous individuals, coaches and teams to improve all aspects of athletic performance.Coach Ramsey is the founder and director of the week long Smarter Training for Faster Running Cross Country/Distance Camps held each July in Colorado and Chicago. Runners come from all over the United States as well as internationally to learn and grow as individuals as well as distance runners.Coach Ramsey serves as the AAU Region VIII Director and is responsible for coordinating all aspects of track and field and cross country for the region which includes Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and East St. Louis, Illinois. He serves as the Region VIII Meet Director responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Region VIII Meet where 2,000 athletes age 7-18 in nine age group divisions attempt to qualify for the AAU Junior Olympics Track & Field Meet.Coach Ramsey has served as meet director, official and troubleshooter at numerous youth, high school and college track & field and cross country meets including the NCAA Championships, SEC, Big XII, KU Relays and Kansas State High School Meet.
